In this Commentary, Yongdzin Rinpoche reveals the profound meaning behind the Prayer to the Great Master Tapihritsa uttered by Gyerpung Nangzher Lödpo during his first encounter with Tapihritsa.
Spreading Supreme Wisdom is extra precious because it is the only commentary Yongdzin Rinpoche wrote on Dzogchen.
Gomdra Khenpo devoted two retreats to this important text and has checked the edited proofs. We have also added the original Tibetan, as well as the phonetic transliteration and translation of the Prayer to the Great Master Tapihritsa which we made together with Yongdzin Rinpoche himself in 2010. To set the scene for the encounter of Gyerpung Nangzher Lödpo with Tapihritsa during which this prayer was uttered, we have also included the story of this first meeting as told so wonderfully by Yongdzin Rinpoche in Blanc, France, 2002.
