Spreading Supreme Wisdom – Dzogchen Retreat in Italy

Spreading Supreme Wisdom – Dzogchen Retreat in Italy

There are still a few places left for this special in-person Dzogchen Retreat in Tuscany, 4-7 October!

The Text:

Spreading Supreme Wisdom: Concise Explanation and Commentary on the Supplication Prayer to Lord Tapihritsa, Mind Emanation of Kuntu Zangpo

This is a short and very important text that Yongdzin Lopön Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche wrote in Tibetan some years ago. It includes a clear explanation of the Dzogchen View, and the fruit of practising this path of Great Perfection.

Spreading Supreme Wisdom is based on the inspiring prayer which Gyerpung Nangzher Lödpo spontaneously sang when he first met Tapihritsa and relaised he is an emanation of Kuntu Zangpo.

This text by Yongdzin Rinpoche touches the heart of the Zhang Zhung Nyen Gyu, a fundamental Bönpo Dzogchen lineage that has been passed from master to disciple in an unbroken lineage, right up until today. This precious text by the living lineage holder, Yongdzin Rinpoche, has never been taught or translated into English/Italian before. We will receive the lung transmission for this text as well as teachings during the October retreat.

The Teacher:

Drubdra Khenpo Tsultrim Tenzin the Meditation Master of Triten Norbutse Bönpo Monastery in Kathmandu, Abbot of the Drubdra Meditation School there. He is the author of several books in English and has often taught in the West.

Drubdra Khenpo is also an accomplished teacher and master of Tummo, Tsalung and Thigle. He has kindly agreed to dedicate a whole day (7 October) to transmissions, teachings, demonstrations and Q&A on this important practice that is of great benefit to our health and practice.

The suggested donation for this day is 50 euro (lunch included).

Is this an in-person retreat with no Zoom access? At this point my finances are not in a position to go to Italy (although I would love to go). Thank you for remembering my inquiry. Stephanie
