Dear Friends!
We are delighted to announce that Gomdra Khenpo Tsultrim Tenzin has accepted our invitation to lead another Dzogchen retreat in Perugia, Italy, from 8-11 October, 2026.
As Abbot of the Meditation School at Triten Norbutse Monastery in Kathmandu, Gomdra Khenpo has been teaching and practising Dzogchen for many, many years. In this 4-day retreat, he will share his own personal experience with us and explain essential, practical methods which we can use to stabilise and deepen our Dzogchen meditation, even in our busy daily lives.
Khenpo will cover topics including:
- Zhine
- Trekchö
- Thögal
- Tsalung
As well as demonstrating effective Tsalung methods, Khenpo will give several lung-transmissions during the retreat. There will be plenty of time for Q&A sessions plus daily meditation together, morning and evening.

Important Note
Engaging with these meditative techniques brings us to a pure state of awareness that is above and beyond normal consciousness. These are powerful tools to control and liberate our ordinary mind, and results are achieved without the need for any drugs or hallucinogenic substances. Since we are seeking to arrive at the true luminous state of our own mind, the use of any drugs is prohibited during this retreat. As the great master Yongdzin Lopön Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche said: “For many years. our Sangha members have been trying to do Mind Training, and I always say – it is my wish – that you would always try to keep your minds clean and not mix them with other things. […] Don’t mix with unclean minds. You expect a little happiness and turn to alcohol, drugs and the like, but that makes your mind unclean; it is not necessary. Try to control your mind. Your mind is good enough. It is like solid gold, it is stable and useful.”
