Celebrating our 9th anniversary!
The past 12 months since Yongdzin Rinpoche passed into Great Bliss have been unforgettable for our Bönpo sangha, and at FPYB we have been doing our best to support practitioners through this time and honour our beloved Master’s precious legacy. That’s why this year’s Annual Report is so busy!
Heartfelt thanks to the Lamas for their kindness, to our indefatigable Trustees, to our enthusiastic translators, and to everyone else who has helped make this such a momentous year.
May the wheel of Yungdrung Bön spin unceasingly throughout all space and time!

Looking ahead
FPYB is run by only 2 volunteers. We desperately need your help to continue. Many people assume FPYB makes a profit from selling books. This is not the case. The previous year, we made a loss and the Foundation is facing a financial crisis. Walking a financial tightrope now jeopardises our activities. If you believe our work is of long-lasting benefit, please consider making a regular monthly or annual donation to ensure we can continue. Contributions towards a specific project (such as next year’s Shen Astrological Calendar, an edited transcript of Yongdzin Rinpoche’s teachings or sponsoring the webhosting or publishing software) are also welcome. Details available on request.

The Year in Pictures
In June, Khenpo Gelek Jinpa invited Carol and Dmitry to Shenten Dargye Ling for the first anniversary of Yongdzin Rinpoche’s parinirvana. A joyous reunion, and a powerful few days of practice together. At Khenpo Gelek’s request, we translated additional texts for a new Shenten Edition of the Drenpa Namkha Tsog.

A wonderful group of practitioners new and old came from as far as Iceland, the Canaries, Switzerland, Finland and London to join the Dzogchen Retreat with Gomdra Khenpo in Perugia, Italy in May 2026. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
This year we published more details on how to make offerings to the Lu water-spirits and the history of this practice.

FPYB makes regular donations to Triten Norbutse Monastery in Kathmandu.
In August 2025 Carol and Dmitry had the great blessing of attending the last week of the cremation rituals for Yongdzin Rinpoche’s Kudung at Triten Norbutse Monastery in Kathmandu.
