Launching our first eBook!
Over the years, many of you have asked us to make FPYB books available in digital format. So we are delighted to tell you that today, to celebrate our fourth anniversary as a registered UK charity, we are launching our very first eBook! Please visit the newly-built FPYB eBooks webpage @ https://yungdrungbon.co.uk/ebooks/
Finding a good, secure digital solution that safeguards the sanctity of these precious teachings has taken months, but thanks to Dmitry’s patience coupled with progress in eBook-making software, particularly the new EPUB3 Fixed Layout format, we are now able to offer you eBooks with Tibetan script, graphics and even videos that stay firmly in place no matter what device you use for reading. At the moment, we are using Google Play for distribution as it is the easiest secure solution which works well on both Android and iOS. In the future, we may distribute eBooks on other platforms, such as iBooks.
We are launching this new venture with a short teaching by Yongdzin Rinpoche, Pith Instructions on Dzogchen.
We hope that these eBooks will be of benefit to the international sangha, particularly to practitioners in far-flung regions such as South Africa, Mexico, and Russia who tell us they have trouble ordering books by mail.
Gradually we will be adding more titles to the eBook store, so watch this space.
Two prayers, Tsewang Mönlam and Yongdzin Rinpoche’s explanation of Tsewang Rigdzin’s long-life mantra, are available gratis from the same page.
May the lotus feet of the precious Master remain firm upon the Earth, may the Sun of his wisdom and compassion shine undimmed on all sentient beings, and may the blessings of his teachings pour for eons like amrita medicine in this and all worlds!
