Yongdzin Rinpoche’s Translation of Tsewang Mönlam Out Today

Today is the anniversary of the great Bönpo drubthob-mahasiddha Tsewang Rigdzin, one of Drenpa Namkha’s sons who achieved the Great Transfer, Jalü Phowa Chenpo / འཇའ་ལུས་འཕོ་བ་ཆེན་པོ། and his twin brother Pema Thöngdrol.

To mark this special day, we are releasing a bilingual Tibetan-English version of Tsewang Rigdzin’s collection of aspirational prayers known as The Precious Mala (or simply as Tsewang Mönlam) / །ཚེ་དབང་སྨོན་ལམ་དོན་འདུས་རིན་ཆེན་ཕྲེང་བ་བཞུགས།

Yongdzin Lopön Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche spontaneously translated these inspiring verses into English with us many years ago in 2006. This was the very first time this prayer was uttered in English. It was Rinpoche’s wish that the prayer be made widely available to his Western sangha, so we are releasing this edited version of Yongdzin Rinpoche’s oral translation today with the Tibetan and phonetic transliteration as both an eBook and printed booklet.

This is FPYB’s very first eBook and we are offering it free of charge to the international Bönpo sangha.

The eBook can be downloaded gratis here:

The printed booklet can be ordered at cost price (excl. VAT and P&P) here:

Instructions on how to recite the prayer are included in the translation.

May countless sentient beings benefit from this translation and achieve ultimate, ineffable Dharmakaya! Dedicated to the long life of Yongdzin Rinpoche.
