Today is the Anniversary of Nyamme Sherab Gyaltsen, founder of the Menri Monastery. The monks of Triten Norbutse and lay practitioners are doing rituals, practising and celebrating all day. In the evening there will be a kora and offering of light while reciting the prayer to this great master, the Dechen Gyalpo Prayer. These photos of the statue and grand cloth thangka of Nyamme Sherab Gyaltsen were taken in Triten Norbutse Monastery this afternoon, inbetween the main rituals.
