Dear Friends, FPYB is happy to present a new article by Dmitry Ermakov. This article is based on the presentation given at the Sixth International Conference of Bon Studies, Triten Norbutse Institution, Kathmandu, 7–8 February 2025, during Yongdzin Lopön Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche’s centenary jubilee celebration. An article on the great Bönpo Khandro Choza Bönmo is now included in The Treasury of Lives, an online biographical encyclopedia of Tibet, Inner Asia and the Himalayan region: The pith instructions of this great yogini who achieved Rainbow Body in 8th century AD can be found in the Heart Essence of the Khandro, Experiential Instructions on Bonpo Dzogchen. This book has recently been translated into Russian and is due to be published there next month. Extensive Practice of Drenpa Namkha

Today, Friday 25th March 2022, the extensive practice of Drenpa Namkha began in Triten Norbutse Bönpo Monastery, Kathmandu, Nepal. It will continue for a week, the Friday 1st March. During this week, the monks of the Drubdra meditation school will be reciting the liturgy and accumulating mantras according to the text The Secret Practice of Khöpung Drenpa’s Innermost Essence / ཁོད་སྤུངས་དྲན་པའི་སྙིང་ཐིག་གསང་སྒྲུབ་ཅེས་བྱ་བ་བཞུགས་པ་ལེགས་སོ།།.
