Drenpa Namkha Intensive Practice

Anniversary of Nyamme Sherab Gyaltsen ཉམས་མེད་ཤེས་རབ་རྒྱལ་མཚན་དུས་དྲན་མཛད་སྒོ།

Today is the Anniversary of Nyamme Sherab Gyaltsen, founder of the Menri Monastery. The monks of Triten Norbutse and lay practitioners are doing rituals, practising and celebrating all day. In the evening there will be a kora and offering of light while reciting the prayer to this great master, the Dechen Gyalpo Prayer. Celebrations surrounding Yongdzin Lopon Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche’s Centenary

This year many sangha members, friends and scholars have gathered in Triten Norbutse Bonpo Monastery, Kathmandu, to celebrate Yongdzin Rinpoche’s 100th birthday. Zhang Zhung Losar The festivities began with a joyful 2-day event marking Zhang Zhung Losar, with many songs, feasting and much laughter as well as offerings of sangchӧ and auspicious prayers. Today, the18042nd Anniversary of Buddha Tӧnpa Shenrab’s birth is being celebrated in Triten Norbutse Monastery, Kathmandu, Nepal and many Bӧnpo centres and communities in Tibet and all over the world. Explanation of the short Long-Life Practice of Drenpa Namkha Yab-Yum Tsedrub

As part of the Centenary Celebrations for Yongdzin Rinpoche, a four-day ritual of Drenpa Namkha’s Yab-Yum Tsedrub is being performed in Triten Norbutse Monastery, Kathmandu.
