Generally, Dzogchen nowadays seems to be brought down to an easy way, but in our tradition, long before, this was the hardest to understand and study. So in our school, for example, in the monastery, it is the last subject we teach; when everybody is set up and has enough knowledge – then they are ready to be taught Dzogchen. Today (9th month, 30th day) we are celebrating Nyangenledepa (mya ngan las ‘das pa) / Parinirvana of Tönpa Shenrab Miwoche, Buddha of Yungdrung Bön. So it is fitting to read some of his words to his followers, as translated by Yongdzin Rinpoche:
“It is very important to integrate with the Natural State as much as you could, to concentrate and keep in your Natural State. Practise Guru Yoga at least once a day, in the morning. It is even better if you can do it several times each day. But at least once a day you should practise Guru Yoga and remember the Nature. Nature is always with you. It never goes far away.
